    We want to know that how refractive index can be determined from the transmittance and reflectance measurements using UV-visible spectrophotometer

    whether we should use specular reflectance or diffuse reflectance for the determination of refractive of our polymer sheets

    You could measure specular reflectance, and then calculate refractive index using Fresnel Formulas ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fresnel_equations )
